About Seven Cities Outreach

            Prior to the 2009 Ichthus Festival in Wilmore, Kentucky, God birthed in me a vision to begin the Seven Cities Outreach, a team effort to bring believers and leaders of different Christian denominations together to simply uplift the name of Jesus Christ and proclaim Him to be the “I Am” that a lost and hurting world is so desperately searching for. Laying aside the “traditions of men” spoken of in Mark 7, we are having astounding victory wherever the Lord sends us. It is time for the body of Christ to come together and no longer have the heresy of division our churches have that Paul spoke about in I Cor. 11:18, 19.

            The Lord brought Kevin Burgess formerly of Ichthus Ministries along side me. Kevin shared the same vision. Together with our brothers and sisters in Christ we are bringing together discipleship teams and mission groups to do follow up ministry for the new converts and those who have renewed their commitment to Christ. These teams are in place before the Christian ministry concerts we are bringing to cities in Appalachia. I believe large battles are won through a series of “small skirmishes”. We will come to cities to bring “Jesus on the Pavement” and do youth festivals and concerts to celebrate unity wherever God calls in Appalachia. We believe the Seven Cities Outreach will become the seven times seventy outreach.

            We have much work to do, but our nation can change as hearts, churches, communities and regions return to Christ and cry out to Him to heal our land (II Cor. 7:14). This is only a beginning …….
